The Wabash Valley College Lady Warriors just keep on winning. They are currently 23-2 and moved up in the NJCAA rankings this week to 11th. They are in first place in the Great Rivers Athletic Conference with a perfect 14-0 with four conference games remaining.
They scored early and often in the Rend Lake game on Wednesday the 14th. Winning that game 105 to 53. Seven Lady Warriors were in double figures with Alexis Thomas leading the way with 17 points followed by Ashley Moore also off the bench with 14 points. Dazha Congleton had 13 points and team high eight rebounds, Mariah McCully with 12, Tramauryia Hunter added 11 and with 10 points apiece were DeAsia Outlaw and Brooke James.
Lady Warrior's next game will be on Wednesday 21st at Lincoln Trail College. Tipoff set for 5:30.
