WVC to Host Bass Fishing Workshop with MLF, Bass Pro Tour Angler Bradley Roy

Mount Carmel, Ill. — Wabash Valley College's Bass Team will be hosting a bass fishing workshop with Major League Fishing, Bass Pro Tour angler Bradley Roy on Saturday, February 29th, in the WVC Brubeck Theatre.

Middle school and high school anglers will be admitted for FREE. One bass coach per school will also be admitted for FREE. The event is open to the general public as well with area BASS Nation Clubs being encouraged to attend. There will be a $10 donation collected at registration for those 19 and up. Check-in and late registration for the event will start at 8 a.m. that morning. The event is planned to go from 8:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., with a lunch break from 12:00 p.m. until 12:50 p.m.

Bradley Roy is a native of Lancaster, Kentucky and is a professional angler on the Major League Fishing, Bass Pro Tour. He was a 2019 Bass Pro Tour­ Redcrest qualifier. He placed third in points in the 2018 Bassmaster Elite Series and in 2017, he finished seventh in the Bassmaster Classic. He is a three-time Bassmaster Classic qualifier. Roy has had 10 career Top-10 tour finishes, 22 career Top-20 tour finishes and has a career earning of over $550,000.
