Lady Warriors lose to Calhoun on a Walk Off Home Run

  • A walk-off left Wabash Valley on the wrong end of a 7-6 defeat to Calhoun Community College Lady Warhawks Varsity on Friday. Calhoun Community College Lady Warhawks Varsity was down 6-5 in the bottom of the seventh inning when Jessica Shaw homered on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.
  • The Lady Warriors lost despite out-hitting Calhoun Community College Lady Warhawks Varsity ten to nine.
  • In the top of the fifth inning, WVC tied things up at five. WVC scored one run when Kyndell Ethridge singled.
