High School
Graduated from East Grand Rapids High School (MI) after a very successful high school career. She put up huge numbers also at West Michigan Lutheran High School averaging 23.4ppg and 13.4rpg, and 2.5bpg during her junior year where she was named 1st Team All State. During her junior year she also set the school record in points scored in a season with 498.
Ruby transferred to East Grand Rapids for her senior year where she averaged 14.7ppg and 10.3rpg. She was named a 1st Team All-Conference selection during her senior year as well. Besides the basketball court Ruby was very involved in school as well. She lettered in both Volleyball and Softball. She was also Vice President of Student Council and led the group FIFA (Faith in Full Action) .
