Led her high school team to an Arkansas 6A State Championship, the first girls basketball state championship in school history. Hunter was named 6A State Tournament MVP and All Tournament.

Others accomplishments throughout her career included: 1st Team All-State in Arkansas 6A, Named to Starting Five for 6A which names top 5 players in the state for each class, Three Time 1st Team All Conference, and Memphis Commercial Appeal Best of the Preps, selected to participate in the Arkansas East & West All Star game, and chosen to represent Arkansas in the Mike Conley Arkansas vs. Tennessee All Star game.
