MOUNT CARMEL, Ill. The Lady Warriors Volleyball team is excited to welcome Molly Bell and Alani Duncan to the incoming 2024 recruiting class. Bell is a defensive specialists at Reitz High School while Duncan is a middle blocker from Perry Meridian High School. The two signings bring the recruiting class up to seven freshmen committed for the 2024 season.

Molly Bell, DS, Evansville, IN

Bell averaged 2.7 digs per set for Reitz High School this past fall. She had 207 total digs, 17 aces, 30 assists and played in 78 sets as libero. She also plays varsity softball and will be a dual athlete at Wabash, competing in volleyball this fall and softball next spring.

"Molly is a hard worker and doesn't fear a challenge," Head Coach Rachel Refenes said. "She's playing two sports and will be in the Physical Therapy Assistant program at the college level. It's not going to be easy, but I believe Molly can do it and the coaches, her teammates and staff at Wabash are here to help. She's going to do something unique and I'm glad JUCO offers kids the opportunity to have it all. She plays with a lot of passion and has the innate ability to make others around her better. I'm excited to have her in our gym."

Alani Duncan, MB, Indianapolis IN, (Circle City Volleyball)

Alani finished her senior campaign with 69 total blocks and 362 kills. She was an important part of the Meridian offense and averaged. 1.7 kills per set. Her team advanced multiple rounds into the post season. This winter she will play club ball for Circle City volleyball club. She will be traveling to Philadelphia and Baltimore this season to compete against teams all over the nation.

"Alani is going to fit well into our system and make the middle position even deeper," Head Coach Rachel Refenes said. "She plays for a great high school and club program. She's a powerful attacker and has a fast arm. She moves smooth from pin to pin and want to get her the ball as much as possible. She's thoughtful and honest and will fit in well with the team. Her dedication to training and academics will enhance the program."
