The Lady Warriors made it win number 20 on the season Saturday night as they defeated Lake Land Col-lege 95 to 46 at home. Freshman Post player Ruby Angok got the Lady Warriors off to a great start scor-ing six unanswered points in the paint. Lake Land would come back and tie the score at six all, but after a basket by Dazha Congleton, the Lady Warriors would never trail again. WVC extended the lead, to close the 1st quarter, 26-12. The Lady Warriors would score 20 or more points in each quarter. Ashley Moore helped the cause in the second quarter, scoring seven of her game high 16 points. Angok was the leading scorer with 20 points and nine rebounds. A big factor in the game WVC outrebounded the Lady Lakers 44 to 15 and 16 of those were offensive boards. The Lady Warriors are now 20-2 on the season and in first place in the GRAC, with perfect 10-0 record, while Lake Land falls to 14-8 and 6-5 in the GRAC.
