Five Warriors receive national recognition

After a season that ended just one win away from a trip back to the NJCAA World Series in Colorado, five Warriors earned national recognition.

Richard Bonomolo Jr, Jon Legrande, Jackson Saucie, Keaton Mahan and Bruce Jellison all earned national recognition by being named to All American Teams and earning the ABCA Gold Glove. Below you will see the list of players, their recognition, and some of their stats. 

Richard Bonomolo Jr-First Team All-American(BA AVG .411, 14 HR, 74 RBI and 62 SB)

Jon Legrande-Second Team All-American(BA AVG .370, 10 HR, 67 RBI and 47 SB)

Jackson Saucie- Honorable Mention All-American(Finished 8-2 with an ERA of 2.18, a WHIP of 1.02 and 98 strikeouts)

Keaton Mahan- Honorable Mention All-American(BA AVG .404, 16 HR, 84 RBI and 24 SB)

Bruce Jellison- American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Gold Glove(BA AVG .335, 40 RBI, and fielding percentage of .969)

Jellison earned the Gold Glove for third base, but mainly played second for Wabash Valley.
