Evan Hylek is entering his second season on the Warriors coaching staff. He serves as the catching coach and assists with the hitters, while also coaching first base on game days.

In Coach Hylek's first season the Warriors took home GRAC, Region 24 and Midwest District Championships, while finishing 2nd at the NJCAA JUCO World Series. Hylek saw three of his catchers move on to four year schools with two of those being to Division I schools.

As a player, Coach Hylek began his career at The Bash before transferring to Ivy Tech CC in Fort Wayne, IN and finishing his career at Lyons College in Batesville, AR.

Hylek is a native of Crown Point, IN and currently resides in Mt Carmel.
