
After suffering their first lost on the season to Shelton State on November 23rd, the Lady Warriors bounced back tonight to pick up a win before the Thanksgiving holiday. Wabash used a 36 point first quarter to set the tone for tonights ball game. Coach Scheidecker had 11 players able to play tonight and all 11 players played.
The Lady Warriors were led in scoring by Madison Lewis. Lewis finished the night with 21 points. She was one of four Lady Warriors in double digits. Shamya Reid chipped in 17 points, with Trinity Butler adding 13, and Nakiya Harris adding 12 points. Also scoring for Wabash Valley was Erin Henry with nine points, Jada Peterson had six points, Makaya Porter added six points, Deziree Bryant finished with five points, and Tayja Mims finished with one point.
The next game for the Lady Warriors is this Friday, November 29th against Malcolm X College in the Moberly Area Thanksgiving Classic. The game is at Moberly Area Community College and is a 1pm tipoff.
