Lady Warriors Sign Highly Decorated Indiana Miss Basketball Candidate Kuryn Brunson

The Lady Warriors have signed Indiana Miss Basketball candidate, Kuryn Brunson. The Indianapolis, IN native comes to the program with many accolades and proven success from her high school career at Franklin Community. Kuryn helped lead her high school team to a 50-5 record over her last two years. Her senior year she helped lead her to team the Class 4A state title game vs. Noblesville.

Brunson's impressive high school career included the following awards and recognitions: Indiana Miss Basketball candidate, Johnson County POTY, 2022 IHSAA Mental Attitude award, 3rd AP All-state team, 2nd All-state team, Super team 2nd team, Offensive MVP, All-Regional Team (Bedford), All-Conference (Mid-State), 2021 IndyStar Central Indiana Super Team (2nd Team), 2021 Indiana Girls Basketball Jr. All-Star, First team All-county, Supreme 15 Senior, All-county 1st team, All-district, and 12x Indy Star Player of the Week nominee. Kuryn was also amongst the best players by being selected to play in the North vs South All-star and the Hickory Showcase Selection.
